Mt. Lebanon High School Theatre Presents Spark by Tom Arvetis
October 14–17 | 7:30 p.m. | Fine Arts Theatre (FAT)

What if the world you’ve always known isn’t the world you were meant to live in?

Three days before the most important exam of her life, Pan is determined to focus, avoid distractions and prove herself in the community of Sanctuary. Alongside her friends Jude and Farren, she enters a dangerous virtual reality competition designed to determine their place in a society where there is little room for mistakes.

But Pan’s curiosity leads her somewhere unexpected.

After encountering two young strangers who introduce an inconceivable possibility to her community, Pan begins to question everything she has been taught. Is Sanctuary really the safe haven it claims to be, or is it a prison built on fear?

Inspired by the Greek myths of Prometheus and Pandora, Spark explores curiosity, courage, imagination, and hope, and what can happen when young people begin to question the world around them.
